The LANGE ZEITWERK by A. Lange & Sohne has been awarded Watch of the Year 2009 by the registered users of the website timezone.com, one of the oldest and most influential web forums dedicated to watches. About 800 watch enthusiasts took part in the poll, and over 300 voted for this distinctive timepiece.
This is the ninth coveted award for the LANGE ZEITWERK since its launch in May 2009. It recently won second prize in the category Watches over 25,000 Euros in Germanys Goldene Unruh (golden balance) awards ceremony, and in December 2009, it received the Good Design Award in New York. In November 2009, A. Lange & Sohne was the first nonSwiss watch brand to win the LAiguille dOr (golden hand) for the LANGE ZEITWERK at the Grand Prix dHorlogerie de Genève, the Swiss watch industrys most prominent award. It has also won awards in Mexico, Bahrain at the Premiere Middle East watches Jewellery and Pen awards 2009 edition and Austria.
