The Haute Joaillerie watch from the Vertige collection by Leon Hatot won the second prize in the “Prix du Public” category at the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Geneve, a ceremony honouring the year’s most beautiful watches. The celebrations were attended by over 1500 invitees. A choice among various pre-selected or ‘nominated’ watches from Switzerland’s finest watch companies and which rewards months and often years of patient, meticulous craftsmanship.
The Vertige has over 1000 diamonds totaling 13 carats lending immense dazzle to the watch. The Vertige is just one of the latest creations in a series of designs initiated by Leon Hatot who mastered the art of watchmaking and jewellery to perfection. A renowned figure in the Art Deco movement, Leon Hatot pays glowing tributes to the beauty of women and magnifying their attractiveness. Leon Hatot became part of the Swatch Group in 1999.
