Messika Paris presented the Starry Night collection inspired by the tales of the Arabian Nights, symbolizing the beauty of the sky and the many starlit nights during which Shahrazad puts her storytelling talents to use.
This Starry Night plastron necklace sparkles with the light of 193 oval-cut diamonds, some of which are enhanced with an entourage of glittering micro-set diamonds. The light, airy allure of this necklace is achieved by the arrangement of the lines, in which the rhythm of the oval and brilliant cut stones are deliberately varied. Completed entirely within the Messika atelier, this necklace required 560 hours of craftmanship from the master jewelers and diamond setters.
A constellation of stars continues throughout three other pieces of jewellery with an oriental flourish: a double ring, a bracelet and a pair of earrings.
