BOVET 1822 honors the Chinese dragon

BOVET offered recently the Amadéo Fleurier – Chinese Dragon. In addition to being considered the symbol of the emperor or of power, the Chinese dragon embodies the forces of nature.
This collection of unique pieces depicting different Chinese dragons is highlighted this year in the Maison BOVET 1822 offer. In keeping with mythology, each of its composite creatures has the features of no less than nine animals.
This is a major challenge for the artist who paints each of them by hand on the small surface of the mother-of-pearl dial. Approximately one hundred hours is required to produce each dial, with details so fine that the work demands the use of a binocular microscope and a brush consisting of a single marten hair.  Presented on the Amadeo Fleurier 43mm timepiece, these dials are highlighted by the iconic convertible case, which enables collectors to admire their work of art as a wristwatch or pocket watch, or to display it as a table clock.
