BOVET 1822 development of the brand-new Virtuoso X Tourbillon timepiece, limited to just 10 pieces. The Virtuoso X timepiece presents three distinct time zones, features a patented flying-tourbillon and has ten days power reserve using only a single barrel. The local time is indicated in the centre of the dial with the two secondary time zones, chosen by the collector, are harmoniously displayed on either side.
The Virtuoso X is the first timepiece in the Maison’s new Ateliers BOVET concept, which was introduced to allow collectors to be even more so at the heart of the process of watchmaking now. Ateliers BOVET concentrates on engraving, miniature painting, and technology – and allows collectors to completely personalize their timepiece, working closely with a team of specialists to create their own bespoke model.
The reverse face of the Virtuoso X Tourbillon timepiece combines the talent of the artisans with the virtuosity of the engravers. The first group of master artisans manufactured a flinqué dial in the purest tradition, the second group fully engraved the movement with the « Fleurisanne » motif.
The Virtuoso X Tourbillon timepiece features many facets never seen in the world of fine watchmaking. The patented Amadeo® convertible case system, which required seven years of study and development, houses this watchmaking jewel. It allows the collector to wear his wristwatch on two sides, face or reverse side, as a pocket watch or a table clock in a few simple steps without any tools.
The Virtuoso X Tourbillon is available in 18K red gold, 18K white gold or in Platinum, and as other Bovet timepieces, perfectly combines watchmaking technicality, chronometry, and decorative arts.
