The Rado Tradition 1965 Auto

The Rado Tradition 1965 is a celebration of Rado design from the past, comprehensively updated for the future. Marrying 60s design with contemporary materials, the Tradition 1965 is a thoroughly modern timepiece with a vintage feel.
Inspired by the Manhattan skyline, the 1965 original sports an unmistakable geometric design, incorporating elements such as rectangular hour and minute markers, a squared day-date complication window and the iconic Rado red anchor at 9 o’clock.
The new Tradition 1965 XL retains this aesthetic while integrating the innovative materials and design language Rado is renowned for. The case is now crafted from PVD coated titanium, a material that is almost 40% lighter than stainless steel. Sapphire crystal has been employed for the glass and the unmistakable “tuning fork” hour and minute hands boast superior legibility.
