The Le Locle de Tissot collection has been upgraded by two new references with dials adorned with diamond indicators. The case and bracelet of these future classics are in steel and in rose gold PVD treated steel. Their golden leaf hands, their engraved back and their omnipresent burnished surfaces combine to create their common signature. But their sizes and movements set them apart. Le Locle takes on male and female styles and brings them together as a couple, or as the “Pair Watch” concept so dear to Tissot.
The Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80 comes in a diameter of 39.3 mm. This size, which is more aimed at men, offers ideal proportions as the thickness of this model is just below the 10 mm threshold. Its dial bears the Clou de Paris pattern and a satin-finished hour circle. This hour circle has either eight diamond indicators and Roman numerals, or all its indicators are diamond. It is fitted with a Powermatic calibre, the standard bearer of Tissot’s specific watchmaking know-how. It has a power reserve of 80 hours, enough to leave this precious timepiece for a weekend and find that it is still running and on time on Monday morning.
The Tissot Le Locle Automatique Lady 29 mm ushers in a new case dimension, which supplements the 25.3 mm model and was until this point the only one in the Le Locle family available to female Tissot fans. Close to the aesthetics of the 39.3 mm version, with which it can be paired for couples looking for a “pair watch”, this eminently feminine piece flaunts it diamonds on all the indicators. Loyal to the upmarket and watchmaking vocation of the Le Locle collection, the 29 mm feminine version is fitted with a small-sized, slim self-winding mechanical calibre. Visible through the transparent back, it has the soul of a traditional watch and has the ideal width for a lady’s wrist.
